On Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 1:00pm the Tom’s Creek Road Detour will be permanently closed and removed and the new Tom’s Creek Road bridge will be opened.  Some notes about the project:

*  Ramp #2 will be closed – there will be no access to Route 460 westbound (headed towards Giles County) for another two weeks.  Access Route 460 westbound from North Main Street or Prices Fork Road.
•  Ramp #1 will be closed – there will be no  access to Toms Creek Road from Route 460 eastbound (coming into Blacksburg from Giles County) for another three weeks.  Access Tom’s Creek Road from North Main Street or Prices Fork Road.
•  No through-traffic on Givens Lane, road will be closed at Ashford Ct for another two weeks.
•  No through-traffic on Chickahominy, road will be closed at the temporary detour location for another two weeks.
