Here we are, more than six months into (through?) 2012, and it seems that the real estate market in the New River Valley has changed since last year at this time. That was certainly the case for the first quarter of 2012, and it looks to be the case for the second quarter, as well. Once again, the bean counters in Nest HQ have done a fantastic job compiling all of these statistics.
July 4th is right around the corner, and it’s time to start planning all of your Independence Day celebrations. Certainly no Fourth of July holiday is complete without a great fireworks show, so if you’re looking for where the fireworks are, here’s the list for Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Radford. Please be sure to check with the venue for the exact times – things may change due to weather and what not!
The New River Valley real estate market is shifting – no doubt about that – and buyers and sellers will need to adjust. We still have some challenges, but things are improving. Sarah Cox of The Roanoke Times wrote about it in this past Sunday’s real estate section.
It’s a new month, and things have been moving in the New River Valley real estate market; in fact, things have been so active that we thought we’d start to show off some great deals in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area you might want to check out this month. We’re looking for properties that represent a good value in terms of quality and amenities offered, and an attractive price point for the area and condition. If you have any questions, or to schedule a showing appointment, email me at Jeremy at NRVLiving dot com.
I’ve been frustrated this week.
I received several calls today regarding properties I have listed.
Montgomery County real estate taxes are going up.
I can’t speak to the specifics of the data, but the news from the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance is that for 2011, the New River Valley (Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Radford MSA) ranked third nationally in job creation for 2011, with a 5.32% increase in jobs. The Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Radford MSA ranked first among Virginia MSAs, as well as first among other university communities.
Call it pie in the sky, wishful thinking, whatever you want, but the fact is that the market in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Radford markets is moving again and people have been going along with it, make sure to get out of there on time with Shiply so you don´t get stuck in a bad marketing area, but if you don´t want to move, then hire these content marketing services to improve your business before it gets worse.
