A New Nest

It’s official – NRVLiving Real Estate has found a new home.  Nest Realty Group.  As announced on Twitter yesterday:

Leaving Coldwell Banker Townside after nearly 7.5 years was a difficult decision, to be sure.  Not only was it a great place to start as a new agent, but the organization is filled with great agents and even better friends.  Likewise, Nest is a group of folks I have the utmost respect for, and I’m proud to be associated with them and looking forward to the future.  And when Inman News names your brokerage the most “Most Innovative Brokerage” in the country in your first full year of operation, you’re on to something.

I’ve gotten several messages from folks – no, I’m not moving to Charlottesville but rather, Nest is moving here!  As announced on their website month, Nest is opening a branch here in the New River Valley.  Fueled by a new way of showcasing real estate (and likely a few gallons of coffee, as well), the folks at Nest have expanded into Hampton Roads and now the New River Valley.  As much as I loved the folks at Big Blue, this is a chance to be a part of something new and exciting, not seen before in the New River Valley real estate scene.  Nest’s core belief is that real estate is about empowering the client, not making it about the sale.  Every agent will have their brokers license (guess who’s going back to school?), be up-to-date on the latest trends (and always on the lookout for the next ones), and will work to not only facilitate but educate.  We’ll be bringing unmatched real estate reports on a regular basis, and highlighting the area in ways never before done here.  It’s exciting, to be sure, and I’m looking forward to it.
