Admit it.  We’re always comparing ourselves to each other in some way … it’s human nature.  That’s what my therapist tells me, anyhow, and for what she charges hourly she ought to know.

So what are the average sales prices of homes in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, or Radford?  Glad you asked … the numbers below are reported by Single-Family Home (SF), Townhouse (TH), and Condo (C), and include the average / median / and number sold YTD.

Blacksburg Average Sales Price January 1 2010 through August 31 2010

Is there any way to find out what the average original asking price was vs what they sold for?

Yep – it’d take me some time to compile, but I could get you decent averages. Let me work on that.
