Looking for something to do this weekend in the New River Valley? Want something a little different from the norm?
Head out to Blacksburg this Friday and Saturday for the annual Steppin’ Out festival. Who knows how many people actually attend this event, but it’s a two-day festival celebrating … who knows what? But it’s fun!
- Live music on three stages, running continuously throughout the festival? Check.
- Annual Draper Mile Run? Check.
- Artisans from around the country, Blacksburg merchants offering great stuff, and local restaurants serving up awesome food? Check, check and check.
The festival runs Friday and Saturday, 10am to 10pm, so you’ve got plenty of time to check it all out. The event schedule can be found at DowntownBlacksburg.com, and parking at Town meters is free.
