Does An $8000.00 Tax Credit Really Have An Effect?

I say yes.

I wrote as much yesterday on VARBuzz.com, where I discussed the results of a survey done by the Richmond Association of REALTORs, as well as talked about what I’m seeing in my own business.

And from the looks of the comments, it looks like others around the Commonwealth are seeing the same thing.  Don’t forget to check out the latest home sales report, as well as the audio file of a discussion regarding sales in the first quarter of 2009.

The time seems to be strong, particularly for first-time buyers, to at least give an honest look at whether the current market is right for them.
