Some firsts in Blacksburg’s role of the online revolution:
- First store online – Wade’s Flower and Gift Shop
- First grocery store online – Wade’s Foods
- First school system to offer Internet access – Montgomery County School System
- First real estate agency to offer real estate listings online – Raines Real Estate
