We’ve shown you what kind of benefits you’ll receive from using a product like Auz-Bloc, but have you considered mushrooms?  That’s right … mushrooms. 

This one’s kind of weird – the insulating product is called Greensulate, and you can find evidence of it sprouting up all over the web.  Less popular than those shrooms found at certain summer concert tours, it’s gaining roots in the industry and it’s creators – two fungi-s themselves – say it should hit the market in a couple of years.  If this idea continues to "mushroom", dumps – err, landfills – around the country could see less non-biodegradable insulation in coming years.
