Zillow announced yesterday the launch of Zillow™ Home Q&A. Their goal is to allow anyone to contribute any information about homes found on the site, ask questions and share insight.
I’ve read some comments about people being unhappy with this idea, that it’s going to allow neighbors, naysayers and Negative Ninnies to pile on and attack the real estate market, among other things. And maybe they’re right, I don’t know. But I use Zillow regularly to post listings and have found it to be helpful in gaining exposure for my clients (see here, here, here, here or here) so I’m hedging and saying that I’m interested to see where it goes. I am concerned about who can post information and how that information is verified – you don’t really believe Bill Gates is going to send you money, do you? But at the very least, they’re going big.
Some screen shots of the new feature can be found on the Bloodhound Blog …
Hi Jeremy,

Thanks a lot for the blog post, and the listings. Looks like you have some great listings right now.
