If you’ve been anywhere near the New River Valley recently, you’ll have noticed on particular thing – it’s COLD!  And as an agent there’s not much worse than traipsing around looking at houses only to find that one house buyers really wanted to see that day is the one where you can’t get up the driveway, no matter how hard you dig into the ice with your fingernails.  With that said, there was a good article recently at About.com about this very thing, written by an agent and blogger in Sacramento named Elizabeth Weintraub.  You can read the article here – not all of the information is relavent but it makes you grateful you’re not the one sliding down the ice!
